Home Fixed Office Chair

Admin October 16, 2026

The installation of a home fixed-leg office chair should be carried out step by step, with stability and comfort as its core features, as detailed below:

I. Installation Process

  1. Installation of Chair Wheels and Pneumatic Rod

    • Insert the chair wheels into the assembly holes of the five-claw base, ensuring each wheel is fully embedded. After flipping the base, vertically insert the thick end of the pneumatic rod into the center hole. This structure provides the core support for the chair's height adjustment function.
    • Key Points: The pneumatic rod must be fully inserted to avoid tilting, which could lead to height adjustment failure or safety hazards.
  2. Fixing the Base and Seat Cushion

    • Use four B screws to connect the base and seat cushion. After initially screwing them in 3-4 turns, tighten them crosswise one by one until fully fixed. This step ensures the stability of the seat cushion and base, preventing loosening during subsequent use.
    • Key Points: Screws should be tightened in a diagonal sequence to prevent uneven local stress that could cause the seat cushion to tilt.
  3. Assembly of Seat Cushion, Pneumatic Rod, and Backrest

    • Align the hole at the bottom of the seat cushion with the top of the pneumatic rod and insert it to ensure a tight connection. Then, use C screws to fix the backrest bottom bracket, and use D screws to lock the connecting brackets between the backrest and seat cushion, forming a stable triangular structure.
    • Key Points: The locking screws should be tightened simultaneously to avoid backrest wobbling. If the chair supports backrest angle adjustment, check the flexibility of the adjustment mechanism.
  4. Installation of Armrests and Headrest

    • Insert the armrests into the bracket holes on both sides of the seat cushion through the bottom buttons. A "click" sound indicates proper installation. The headrest is fixed to the reserved hole at the top of the backrest with E screws, adjusted to the appropriate height, and then tightened.
    • Key Points: Armrests should be horizontally aligned to avoid uneven heights. The headrest screws should be tightened to prevent slipping during use.

II. Product Features

  1. Stability Design

    • The fixed-leg structure is achieved through a combination of a five-claw base and chair wheels. The carbon steel frame (such as the Farsidan model) can support up to 200 pounds, suitable for heavier users. The chair wheels are designed to be quiet, reducing noise during movement.
  2. Comfort Optimization

    • The Insteel model is designed for prolonged sitting, with a seat cushion made of high-density foam to disperse hip pressure. The Farsidan model supports a 135-degree backrest adjustment, combined with a retractable footrest, allowing for a "sitting-lying" mode switch to meet lunch break needs.
  3. Functional Expandability

    • Some models are equipped with adjustable headrests and armrests. The headrest height can be adjusted to suit users of different heights, while the armrests support up-down or front-back adjustments to relieve shoulder and neck fatigue.

Installation Tips: Before installation, verify the screw specifications (B/C/D/E) to avoid misuse that could lead to structural instability. If the chair supports height adjustment, regularly check the pneumatic rod's seal to prevent air leakage that could affect usage safety.
