Office Chair Headrest Assembly
There are usually two common ways to assemble the headrest of an office chair:

Method 1: Installation using E-screws and fixed clips
First, determine the installation position of the headrest. Place the headrest precisely in the middle at the top of the backrest. This position is determined by design to ensure that the headrest provides the most comfortable and reasonable support for the head during use, avoiding inconvenience or reduced comfort due to positional deviations.
After placing the headrest, press down on the installation area of the headrest. The purpose of pressing is to make the headrest fit better with the backrest and eliminate any possible gaps between them, ensuring stability after installation. If there are gaps, the headrest may wobble during subsequent use, affecting the user experience and even posing safety risks.
Next, use two E-screws for fixation. Pass the E-screws through the headrest's fixed clips. Pay attention to the matching degree between the screws and the clips in this step to ensure that the screws can pass through smoothly and the clips can provide good fixation. Then, lightly screw the two screws in by 3 - 4 turns. This is to initially fix the position of the headrest and prevent it from shifting during the subsequent tightening process. After initial fixation, tighten the screws one by one to firmly attach the headrest to the backrest. When tightening the screws, pay attention to applying an appropriate amount of force. Over-tightening may damage the screws or related components of the headrest and backrest, while under-tightening will not ensure the stability of the headrest.
Method 2: Direct installation using triangular screws
This installation method is relatively simple and straightforward. Simply press the headrest onto the backrest, ensuring that the headrest is in the correct position and fits well with the backrest during the pressing process. Then, use triangular screws to tighten and fix the headrest. The design of triangular screws provides good fixation when tightened, ensuring that the headrest will not loosen easily. When tightening the triangular screws, use the appropriate tools and gradually tighten them in a clockwise direction until the headrest is firmly fixed to the backrest. Also, pay attention to the amount of force applied to avoid screw slippage or damage to related components due to excessive force.
