Office Chair Head Fixation
The methods for fixing the headrest of an office chair vary depending on the model and type, with common methods including screw fixation, snap-in embedding, rail insertion, and non-drilling adhesion. The specific operation should be selected according to the chair's structure.

1. Screw Fixation Installation Method
Suitable for office chairs with independent brackets or pre-drilled installation holes, such as the W926 foam-padded computer chair and the W208 foam-padded computer chair. Taking the W926 as an example, two slender screws are required to connect the headrest to the backrest: first insert the hanger into the headrest groove, then align the headrest with the pre-drilled holes at the top of the backrest, and tighten it with screws. The installation logic for the W208 is similar, but the screw specification is a 'medium-slender screw,' and the headrest needs to be inserted along the hanger rail before fixation. The core of this method is to accurately align the holes to prevent the screws from tilting and causing structural looseness. After installation, check if the headrest can be adjusted stably in angle.
2. Snap-in Embedding Installation Method
For models with independent brackets or integrated snap-in designs, such as universal office chairs with brackets. The operation is divided into three steps: first, lay the backrest flat and clean the pre-drilled holes on both sides of the top; if the headrest bracket requires screw fixation, use screws to align and tighten the bracket with the holes; if it is an integrated snap-in design, directly align and press it into the holes until fully embedded. The key point of this method lies in the matching degree between the snap-in and the holes. If there is excessive resistance during embedding, check for foreign object blockage or snap-in deformation, and avoid forcing the press to prevent damage.
3. Rail Insertion and Special Structure Installation
Some models adopt rail or hidden slot designs. For example, the W208 foam-padded model requires inserting the headrest along the hanger rail. This type of structure relies on the precision of the rail, and the headrest should be kept vertical during insertion to avoid skewing and causing jamming. The headrest of gaming chairs adopts hidden slots: first adjust the headrest to the highest position, find the soft leather-covered area at the bottom of the backrest, press inward to expose two 'small tabs,' and insert them into the corresponding slots. The difficulty of this method lies in locating the hidden structure, which requires finding the pressing point by touching or observing the soft leather wrinkles.
4. Non-drilling Adhesion Installation Method
Suitable for backrests without pre-drilled holes, such as non-drilling headrests. Choose a headrest with a strong adhesive pad or a snap-on clip, clean the backrest surface, then stick or clamp it on, and let it sit for 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before use. Precautions for this method include: ensuring the backrest surface is flat and dust-free, avoiding installation in humid or high-temperature environments, adjusting the snap-on clip to match the thickness of the backrest to prevent slipping and detachment.
