Office Chair Gear-Shifting Function
The gear-shifting function of the Gaotian ergonomic office chair enables convenient adjustment through the paddles beneath the armrests, covering control over seat height and backrest tilt angle, and featuring efficient operation and intelligent adaptability.

The seat height adjustment function is achieved through the paddle beneath the right armrest. The specific operation logic is as follows: when lowering the seat, the user lifts the paddle and presses down with their body weight, causing the seat to descend; upon releasing the paddle, the seat will be fixed at the current height. To raise the seat, the user must ensure they are off the seat or no weight is applied to the seat surface, and then lifting the paddle will raise the seat. This design utilizes the principle of mechanical leverage, controlling the locking and releasing states of the gas lift through the paddle to achieve stepless height adjustment, meeting the personalized needs of users of different heights for sitting posture height.
The backrest tilt angle adjustment function is controlled by the paddle beneath the left armrest. The operation process is as follows: after the user leans back to apply pressure to the backrest to the desired angle, they flick the paddle and release it after hearing a beep, and the backrest will be locked at that angle; flicking the paddle again will unlock it, restoring the free reclining state. This function triggers the ratchet locking mechanism inside the backrest through the paddle, combined with gravity sensing technology, ensuring stable support of the backrest at any angle and avoiding safety hazards caused by poor locking in traditional seats.
The operational advantages are reflected in efficiency and convenience. Traditional seat adjustment requires bending over to touch the knobs at the bottom of the seat or on the backrest, while the gear-shifting design of the Gaotian ergonomic office chair integrates the adjustment switches beneath the armrests, allowing the user to complete the operation with one hand without changing their sitting posture. According to actual tests, its adjustment speed reaches 0.32 seconds, which is 8 times more efficient than traditional seats, making it especially suitable for office scenarios that require frequent adjustment of sitting posture.
Some high-end models, such as the Vida series of the Weida line, are also equipped with an Angle automatic adaptation system (3A system). This system uses built-in sensors to instantly recognize the user's weight, changes in sitting posture, and usage habits, automatically adjusting the backrest support angle within a range of 9ยฐ to provide dynamic seamless support. For example, when the user leans forward to work, the backrest will automatically lean forward to maintain a fit; when leaning back to rest, the backrest will synchronously lean back to provide support, effectively reducing spinal pressure.
