Office Chair for Units

Admin October 08, 2026

The installation and usage characteristics of office chairs for units vary depending on the specific model, and attention must be paid to their safety issues.

Different models of office chairs for units have differences in installation and usage. Take the 1033A office chair as an example. During installation, materials need to be prepared first, and then operations should be carried out according to the video. Insert screw J into the gasket and then insert it, and then use screw L for fixation. If armrests need to be installed, screw K is required. The installation process of the 1012A office chair is different. First, prepare materials, then install the base casters and seat armrests. Next, according to the video instructions, use screw C to install screw D on the inside of the chair, and finally insert screw E into the base after putting it into the gasket. This shows that different models of office chairs have their own requirements for installation steps and the types of screws needed. During installation, operations must be carried out strictly in accordance with the instructions for the corresponding model; otherwise, the installation may not be firm, affecting usage safety.

In a broad sense, office chairs include all types of chairs used in offices, such as executive chairs and staff chairs. In recent years, the safety issues of office chairs have attracted much attention. For example, on March 2, 2023, the United States and Canada recalled office chairs made in China due to the risk of the backrest breaking, which could cause users to fall. On September 30, 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation found that 15 batches of products were unqualified in the national supervision and inspection of office chairs, with stability issues being particularly prominent. On January 16, 2025, the United States recalled the WorkPro Momentum office chairs made in China again because their bolts might fail, posing a risk of users falling. These recall incidents remind us that when selecting and using office chairs, we should attach great importance to their safety, choose products with reliable quality and that have undergone strict testing, and regularly check various components of the office chairs during use, such as whether the screws are loose and whether the backrest is stable, to ensure that the office chairs are always in a safe and reliable state and protect the lives of users.
