Office Chair for Attracting Wealth

In Feng Shui, the layout of an office chair for attracting wealth needs to take into account factors such as color, sitting direction, and the surrounding environment. Here are the specific key points:

Color Selection A red chair is considered the best option for boosting wealth and prosperity as red symbolizes passion, vitality, and wealth, and can directly enhance the energy of financial luck. In addition, offices with different sitting directions have specific requirements for the color of seat cushions:

• For an office sitting west to east: It is advisable to use blue, black, green, or cyan cushions, which are in harmony with the five-element attribute of the auspicious “Nine Purple Star” position in the east, enhancing the luck of benefactors and wealth.
• For an office sitting southeast to northwest: It is suitable to use white or beige cushions. White belongs to the metal element and can neutralize the malevolent energy of the “Two Black Star” position in the northwest, stabilizing financial luck.
• For an office sitting south to north: It is appropriate to use blue or black cushions. The water element can balance the fiery energy in the south, preventing excessive financial luck from getting out of control.
• For an office sitting north to south: It is recommended to use warm-colored cushions such as red or yellow. Red activates the fiery energy in the south, and yellow belongs to the earth element, forming an auspicious “Fire Generates Earth” pattern that strengthens financial luck.

Sitting Direction and Layout

• Sitting west to east: Facing the auspicious “Nine Purple Star” position, in addition to the color of the cushions, red flowers (such as anthuriums or roses) can be placed in the exact east of the office desk to activate the energy of the auspicious position. Brass ornaments (such as copper gourds or copper coins) can be placed in the southeast corner, and clear water (such as in a glass) can be placed in the northeast corner, forming a wealth-attracting pattern of “Water Nourishes Wood”.
• Sitting southeast to northwest: With the back against the malevolent “Two Black Star” position, it is necessary to resolve the malevolent energy through layout. Green ornaments (such as jade figurines) or aquatic plants (such as pothos or lucky bamboo) can be placed in the northwest of the office desk to drain the earth energy with wood. White pebbles (such as river stones) and clear water can be placed in the north, forming a circulating pattern of “Metal Generates Water” to stabilize financial resources.

Other Layout Key Points

• The office desk should be higher on the left and lower on the right: The left hand is the Green Dragon position, which governs career and financial luck. It should be kept relatively high, tidy, and well-lit, and file cabinets or green plants can be placed there. The right hand is the White Tiger position, which should be kept low, and clutter should be avoided to prevent the “White Tiger Overpowering the Green Dragon” situation from obstructing financial luck.
• Form a “Jade Belt Encircling the Waist” pattern: The office desk and its附属设施 (ancillary facilities, such as chairs and cabinets) should be arranged in an arc shape, symbolizing the encircling of financial luck. Wealth-attracting mascots such as golden toads or pixiu can be placed in the Green Dragon position, or personal zodiac mascots can be placed according to one's zodiac sign (for example, a Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara for those born in the Year of the Rat).
• Lighting and tidiness: The office desk should be placed in a well-lit area, avoiding dark corners. The desktop should be kept tidy, and clutter should be cleared regularly to prevent “blocked qi fields” from affecting financial luck.
