Office Chair Foot Replacement

The method for replacing the feet of an office chair varies depending on the chair type, and the corresponding operation should be selected based on the specific type. Here are the replacement methods for common chair types:

Replacement of the footrest for the Sihoo C-series C300/C500
The footrest is fixed to the chair body with three screws. Before operation, lay a foam pad on the ground to prevent scratches on the chair back. Use a screwdriver to remove the three fixing screws counterclockwise, separating the footrest from the chair body. When installing, tighten the screws in the reverse order to ensure the footrest is stable and does not wobble.

Replacement of the footrest for ordinary chairs
The footrest is fixed with a snap-bead structure. Flip the chair over so that the seat cushion faces upwards and locate the bead snap at the front underside of the seat cushion. Pull the footrest lightly with one hand while pressing the bead with the other. When the bead is fully retracted into the slot, the footrest will naturally detach. When installing, align it with the snap position and push it in firmly until the bead resets and locks.

Replacement of the five-star base for office chairs

• Method 1 (Wiggle and Lift Method): Fix the five-star base with one foot and grip both sides of the seat cushion firmly with both hands. Wiggle slightly from side to side while lifting upwards simultaneously. If it does not loosen, repeat the operation on the other sides of the seat cushion, using the lever principle to gradually separate the five-star base from the gas cylinder connection.
• Method 2 (Inverted Disassembly Method): Invert the chair and inspect the bottom of the central column. If there is a flat washer snap ring, use needle-nose pliers to remove the snap ring and then extract the old five-star base. If there is no snap ring, the five-star base and the gas cylinder form a conical press-fit structure, and a soft rubber mallet should be used to lightly tap the edge of the five-star base to separate it from the gas cylinder. When installing a new five-star base, ensure that the conical surfaces are fully in contact to prevent looseness.

Installation of the feet for the F28 new slant-leg chair

1. Footrest assembly: Unscrew the reserved screws on the footrest, align and insert the steel tubes on both sides, and tighten the screws with a wrench.
2. Angle iron fixation: Align the angle iron with the holes on the foot pedal and fix it with four short and thin screws. Then align the other side of the angle iron with the holes on the footrest and connect it with four medium-thick screws, inserting the knob.
3. Armrest installation: Align the armrests with the holes on the backrest and seat cushion respectively, and fix the backrest end with four short and thin screws and the seat cushion end with four medium-thin screws.
4. Overall connection: Align the footrest with the holes on the seat cushion and fix it with four long and thin screws. After installation, flip the armrests to 90° for easy storage, rotate the knob to adjust the height, and if the chair feet wobble, install foot pads to level it.
