Office Chair Fixing Techniques
The techniques for fixing an office chair mainly consist of the following steps, which should be carried out in order to ensure stability:

1. Assembly of Chair Wheels and Five-Star Base
Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base one by one, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and free from looseness. Check that the direction of the wheels is consistent to avoid misalignment or jamming after installation.
2. Installation of the Pneumatic Rod
Align the thicker end of the pneumatic rod with the central hole of the five-star base, place it vertically downward, and gently press until it is fully inserted. The pneumatic rod is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so ensure it is tightly connected to the base to avoid wobbling during subsequent use.
3. Fixing the Seat Cushion to the Chassis
Place the chassis on the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the chassis (usually marked with front and back indicators). After aligning with the four screw holes, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in 3-4 turns initially, then tighten them sequentially. Avoid tightening a single screw all at once in this step to prevent the chassis from tilting or the seat cushion from being unevenly stressed.
4. Connecting the Seat Cushion to the Pneumatic Rod
Align the assembled seat cushion with the top of the pneumatic rod and insert it vertically into the chassis hole until it is fully fitted. Keep the seat cushion level during insertion to avoid damaging the pneumatic rod or tilting the seat due to angular deviation.
5. Installation and Fixing of the Backrest
- Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation positions on both sides of the seat cushion and slowly insert until the bottom slots are fully embedded.
- First, use two screws to pass through from the bottom of the armrest bracket to fix the connection between the bottom of the backrest and the armrest.
- Align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the hole positions on the seat cushion bracket, and use two wrenches to cooperate with the screws for locking fixation (i.e., one hand holds the nut while the other hand tightens the screw) to ensure a firm connection between the backrest and the seat cushion.
6. Installation of the Armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface (some models require pressing the buckle), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, ensuring they are fully embedded. When fixing the armrests, use three screws evenly to tighten them, consistent with the left armrest, to avoid loosening due to unilateral stress.
7. Fixing the Headrest
Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest and press the installation part of the headrest to make it snap into the backrest slot. Pass a screw through the headrest fixing buckle, screw each one in 3-4 turns initially, then tighten them sequentially to ensure the headrest is free from wobbling and the angle is adjustable.
Precautions:
- During the installation process, check that the connections between all components are tight to avoid safety hazards caused by unscrewed screws or components not being fully embedded.
- If resistance is encountered or alignment is not possible, stop the operation and recheck the orientation of the components to avoid damaging the parts by forcing installation.
