Office Chair Fixing Methods
The main methods for fixing office chairs include armrest fixing, base fixing, back-to-seat connection fixing, and special fixing methods for sinking issues. Here are the details:

Armrest Fixing
After installing the five-star feet and wheels, place the seat cushion in the appropriate position and prepare to install the armrests. Use screws to fix the armrests. For example, use three screws to fix the left armrest and use the corresponding number of screws to fix the right armrest in the same way. Ensure that the armrests are firmly installed to provide stable support for the user.
Base Fixing
When installing the base, four long screws need to be installed on the base. During the installation process, make sure the screws are tightened so that the base is tightly connected to other parts of the chair to avoid loosening. The base is an important supporting component of the office chair, and a stable base can ensure the overall stability and safety of the chair.
Back-to-Seat Connection Fixing
When connecting the back and the seat, screws need to be installed on the corner brackets. The corner brackets are key components for connecting the chair back and the seat cushion. By installing screws on the corner brackets, the chair back and the seat cushion can be firmly connected together, ensuring that the chair back does not shake during use and providing a comfortable leaning experience for the user.
Fixing Methods for Sinking Issues
- Using Hose Clamps: If the office chair sinks and needs to have its height fixed, hose clamps can be used. First, slide the plastic skirt down from the cylinder, adjust the chair to a suitable height, and then wrap the hose clamp around the cylinder. To improve the grip of the clamp, you can wrap rubber bands or tape around the cylinder, sand the cylinder area, etc. Finally, tighten the clamp as much as possible and test it to ensure that the chair height is fixed and stable.
- Using PVC Pipes: Measure the diameter and length of the chair cylinder and purchase PVC pipes of the appropriate size. Saw the PVC pipes to make them longitudinally split, and then put the pipes over the chair cylinder. This way, the chair can be fixed to prevent it from sinking.
