Office Chair Fixed Stool

Admin October 19, 2026

The installation steps for an office chair fixed stool are usually as follows:

Step 1: Install the five-star base and wheels
This is the foundational step for installing an office chair. First, unfold the five branches of the five-star base and adjust them to the appropriate angle to ensure stability. Then, install the matching wheels one by one onto the end of each branch of the five-star base, typically using a snap-fit or screw-fixing method. If it is a snap-fit, press the wheels firmly until you hear a 'click' sound to confirm they are properly installed. If it is a screw-fixing method, use a screwdriver of the corresponding size to tighten the screws and prevent the wheels from loosening. After completing this step, gently push the five-star base to check if the wheels rotate smoothly without any jamming.

Step 2: Install the gas lift and seat plate
Insert the gas lift (height-adjustable rod) vertically into the central hole of the five-star base, ensuring that the bottom of the gas lift is fully in contact with the five-star base. Some gas lifts may need to be fixed by rotating or gently pressing, so follow the product instructions. Next, align the seat plate (the component that connects the seat cushion to the gas lift) with the top of the gas lift and slowly press it down until it is fully embedded. Pay attention to the orientation of the seat plate at this time; usually, there will be front and back markings on the seat plate that need to match the installation direction of the seat cushion. Then, use four long screws (refer to information) to fix the seat plate to the bottom of the seat cushion. The screws should pass through the pre-drilled holes in the seat cushion and be tightened into the threads of the seat plate to ensure a firm connection between the seat cushion and the seat plate.

Step 3: Install the armrests
The installation of the armrests requires selecting the appropriate screw type according to the specific model. Taking general installation as an example, align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on both sides of the seat cushion and adjust them to a horizontal position. Use the matching screws (such as screws J, L, and K) for fixation: first, place a washer onto screw J and insert it into the holes of the armrest and the seat cushion. Then, use screw L to screw it in from the other side and tighten it to ensure that the armrests do not wobble. Some models may require an additional screw K to reinforce the connection between the armrests and the seat plate (refer to information). For simple installation, you can directly use three screws to fix the armrests on one side (refer to information), and distribute the screws evenly to maintain balanced force.

Step 4: Overall inspection and adjustment
After installation is complete, conduct a comprehensive inspection to ensure that all components are tightly connected. Push the office chair to test if the wheels rotate smoothly. Adjust the height of the gas lift to confirm that the height-adjustment function works properly. Shake the armrests and the seat cushion to check for any looseness or abnormal noises. If any problems are found, re-tighten the corresponding screws or adjust the positions of the components to ensure that the office chair is safe and comfortable to use.
