Admin October 12, 2026

The installation methods and characteristics of some types of office chair fixed seats are as follows:

Installation Methods

The installation of an office chair fixed seat requires following certain steps. First, insert each chair wheel into the five-claw assembly holes one by one to ensure the chair wheels are firmly installed. Next, flip the five-claw base and place the thicker end of the gas lift rod into the center hole of the five-claw base, ensuring the gas lift rod is accurately positioned to provide stable support for subsequent installation. Then, place the seat base on the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the seat base. Align it with the four screw holes, then lightly screw in the four B-type screws 3 - 4 turns one by one, and then tighten them gradually. This ensures a tight connection between the seat base and the seat cushion. Finally, align the seat cushion with the gas lift rod and insert it into the hole in the seat base to complete the entire installation process.

Characteristics of Some Types of Fixed-Seat Office Chairs

  • Auditorium Chairs: These are fixed-type seats specially designed for public spaces such as auditoriums, cinemas, assembly halls, and lecture halls. They have a rich set of core components, including seat cushions, backrests, armrests, stand legs, and retractable writing tables. The design follows ergonomic standards, with a seat height generally ranging from 400 to 440 mm, a seat depth usually from 400 to 450 mm, a backrest height of 1020 mm, and a seat center distance of โ‰ฅ580 mm, which can better meet the needs of human sitting postures. The seat cushions are made of high-density PU foam and are equipped with a flippable structure. The backrest shells are injection-molded from PP material, and the metal frames are treated with anti-rust spraying, providing good durability. Some models are also equipped with local lighting, cup holders, and other simultaneous interpretation equipment. Some use serpentine springs or noise-reducing pneumatic return devices, enhancing the user experience. In terms of materials, they need to comply with the standard QB/T2602 - 2013 for public seats in cinemas and theaters, with a formaldehyde emission of โ‰ค0.12 mg/mยณ, a static load on the seat surface of โ‰ฅ2000 N, and fire-resistant fabric reaching Class B1, ensuring safety and environmental protection. The installation methods are mainly single-leg floor mounting or armrest stand leg fixing.
  • Staff Office Chairs: There are types such as mesh-back computer chairs with an I-shaped design. They can be used as home computer chairs for long sitting or business meeting chairs, meeting office needs in different scenarios.
