Office Chair Fixed Frame

Admin October 13, 2026

The installation steps for an office chair fixed frame mainly consist of three key stages, which should be carried out in order to ensure structural stability.

Step 1: Fix the Armrests and the Frame
Use No. 3 screws to connect and secure the armrests to the frame. During operation, pay attention to the matching of screw specifications with the reserved holes to avoid installation looseness due to size mismatches. It is recommended to adopt a cross-tightening method, that is, initially fix all screws first, and then tighten them one by one to the appropriate torque to ensure full contact between the armrests and the frame. This step requires a focus on checking whether the screws are fully embedded in the holes to prevent the protruding parts from affecting the installation of subsequent components or causing safety hazards during use.

Step 2: Connect the Corner Braces of the Backrest and the Seat
Secure the backrest and the seat using screws on the corner braces. As a key connecting component of the load-bearing structure, the corner braces must be installed accurately. Align the abutting surfaces of the backrest and the seat during operation, insert the corner braces into the preset slots, and then tighten the screws simultaneously from both sides of the corner braces. Pay special attention to the tightening force of the screws in this step. Loose screws may cause structural wobbling, while overly tight screws may lead to material deformation. It is recommended to use a torque wrench for assistance or confirm the connection stability through manual pressure testing.

Step 3: Install the Backrest and the Tray
Insert the backrest into the tray to complete the final fixation. The tray, usually located below the backrest, serves as a core component for support and adjustment, and its installation accuracy directly affects the functionality of the chair. During operation, hold both sides of the backrest with both hands and apply vertical downward force to fully embed it into the tray slot. After hearing a 'click' sound or feeling it is in place, gently shake the backrest to confirm whether it is installed properly. If the tray is equipped with adjustment buttons or locking devices, check their functionality simultaneously to avoid backrest adjustment failures or looseness due to installation deviations.

Precautions:

  1. Before installation, check the list of all accessories to ensure that small parts such as screws and corner braces are complete in quantity to avoid delays due to missing parts during the process.
  2. It is recommended to wear protective gloves during operation to prevent metal parts from scratching the skin.
  3. If hole misalignment or component jamming is encountered, do not force installation. Instead, check the design drawings first or contact after-sales service to confirm the cause of the problem.
  4. After installation, conduct a comprehensive inspection of all connections and test the structural stability by simulating sitting and leaning back postures to ensure there are no abnormal sounds or looseness.
