Office Chair Fixation

Admin October 08, 2026

The fixation of an office chair requires the sequential installation of multiple components, as detailed below:

1. Fixation of the Five-Star Base and Wheels
The five-star base serves as the foundational support for the office chair and must first be connected to the wheels. Insert each chair wheel into the corresponding assembly hole on the five-star base, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and securely fixed. This step requires checking that the wheels are firmly installed to prevent loosening or detachment during subsequent use.

2. Fixation of the Gas Lift and Five-Star Base
The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the height of the office chair. Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the central hole of the five-star base, place it vertically, and gently press down to ensure it is fully inserted and tightly fitted to the base. During installation, pay attention to the orientation of the gas lift to avoid abnormal use caused by tilting.

3. Fixation of the Seat Base and Cushion
The seat base is the key component connecting the cushion to the gas lift. Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, align it with the four screw holes, and then sequentially insert and tighten four screws (e.g., B screws) by turning them 3-4 times initially and then fully tightening them one by one. This step requires ensuring that the screws are tightened evenly to prevent gaps or wobbling between the seat base and cushion.

4. Fixation of the Backrest
The installation of the backrest is completed in two steps:

  • Bottom Fixation: Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the installation positions on the armrests of the cushion and insert them. First, use two screws (e.g., C screws) to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, ensuring a preliminary connection between the backrest and cushion.
  • Rear Fixation: Align the rear part of the backrest with the installation holes on the cushion brackets and use two wrenches to lock the backrest and cushion brackets together with screws (e.g., D screws). This step requires ensuring that the screws are tightened to prevent the backrest from shifting or loosening during use.

5. Fixation of the Armrests
The installation method of the armrests varies by model:

  • Screw-Fixed Type: Fix the armrests to the frame with three screws, ensuring that the screws are tightened and the armrests are parallel to the cushion.
  • Snap-Fixed Type: Press the button below the armrest surface, insert the left and right armrests into the holes on the armrest brackets respectively, and a "click" sound indicates that the installation is complete.

6. Fixation of the Headrest
Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation area of the headrest to make it fit the backrest, and use two screws (e.g., E screws) to pass through the headrest fixing clips to complete the fixation. During installation, ensure that the headrest is perpendicular to the backrest to avoid tilting and affecting comfort.

After completing the above steps, check that all components are firmly installed without looseness or abnormal noise to ensure the safety and stability of the office chair.
