Office Chair Export Factories
Well-known office chair export factories in China are mainly concentrated in Anji, Zhejiang, and Foshan.
Anji, Zhejiang: As the largest production base for office chairs in the country, Anji accounts for one-third of the domestic market output and half of the national export volume in the chair industry. As of 2023, there are over 1,200 industrial enterprises in Anji's chair sector, with large-scale enterprises making up 52.08% of the total. A relatively complete upstream-midstream-downstream industrial chain has been formed, creating a large-scale industrial cluster. The area is home to four leading companies: UE Furniture, Henglin Home Furnishings, Zhongyuan, and Zhejiang Tianzhen Technology. These companies not only hold significant positions in the domestic market but also actively explore international markets. In 2024, Anji's total industrial output value reached 39.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%; the output value of the chair industry was 31.19 billion yuan, up 6.4% year-on-year, showing strong growth momentum. Some companies, such as Wanbao Smart Home Technology Co., Ltd., have further enhanced the international influence of Anji's office chairs by selling products worldwide through cross-border e-commerce platforms.
Foshan: Foshan is also an important region for office chair exports. There are several enterprises engaged in the manufacturing and sales of office chairs here, such as Foshan Bonai Furniture Co., Ltd., established in 2012, which mainly manufactures and sells ergonomic office chairs, sofas, and other furniture, and operates technology and goods import and export businesses. Its products are exported to Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and other regions through the ODM model. In addition, companies like Foshan Yuyue Chair Co., Ltd. and Foshan Fangsheng Furniture Co., Ltd. also focus on the production and processing of office chairs and other products and have certain export businesses. These companies not only offer a wide range of products but also emphasize technological innovation and quality improvement to meet the diverse demands of the international market.
