For example, in 2009, a 14-year-old boy in Jiaozhou, Shandong, was killed when the top rod of a pneumatic chair he was adjusting exploded and pierced his buttocks; in 2010, Ms. Liu in Xiamen, Fujian, experienced a similar accident, and doctors removed more than a dozen chair fragments from her intestines.
