Office Chair Experiment
The experiments on office chairs mainly involve dimensions testing, stability testing, strength and durability testing, ergonomic dimensions verification, and chemical safety testing, among others.

Dimensions Testing: Accurately measure key dimensions of the office chair, including seat height, width, and depth, backrest height, armrest height, overall height, and base diameter. These data serve as the foundation for evaluating whether the office chair meets design specifications and usage requirements, ensuring that the chair can accommodate users of different heights and body types, providing a comfortable sitting experience.
Stability Testing: Simulate the risk of tipping over for the office chair in different usage scenarios, including forward stability (e.g., when a user suddenly leans forward to retrieve an item), backward stability (when reclining), and lateral stability (when getting up from one side). Through seat stability testing in physical performance evaluations, further verify the chair's stability in various postures to prevent accidental tipping during use.
Strength and Durability Testing: This is a core verification step, covering seat static pressure testing (repeatedly applying specified loads to verify load-bearing capacity), backrest cyclic durability testing (simulating millions of reclining actions), seat and backrest durability testing (100,000 cyclic loads), armrest strength and durability testing, caster wear testing (8-kilometer travel test), gas lift cyclic life testing (120,000 lifting cycles), and base static pressure testing (2.5 times load-bearing capacity). These tests ensure that the office chair can maintain structural stability and normal functionality during long-term use.
Ergonomic Dimensions Verification: Utilize standard dummies to simulate real human sitting postures and weights, precisely calibrating key parameters such as seat cushion depth, seat height, backrest support angle, and armrest spacing. Additionally, conduct specialized evaluations such as seat adjustment function verification (height adjustment range, backrest tilt angle, armrest height adjustment), pressure distribution testing, and sitting posture pressure measurement to ensure that the chair's dimensions design conforms to ergonomic principles, reducing fatigue and discomfort from prolonged use.
Chemical Safety Testing: Test for harmful substances such as formaldehyde emissions, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, and heavy metal content (lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium) in seat fabrics, foam, and plastic components to safeguard the health and safety of users. During the testing process, various professional equipment is used, and standardized operating procedures are strictly followed, such as placing samples in a specific temperature and humidity environment for 48 hours for pre-treatment.
