Office Chair Entrepreneurs
Here are the entrepreneurial experiences and strategies of several office chair entrepreneurs:

Luo Huiping: As a post-80s from Ganzhou, Jiangxi, Luo Huiping encountered setbacks in job hunting in Shenzhen and founded the SIHOO brand in 2011. In the early stages of entrepreneurship, he focused on B2B clients and keenly recognized the potential of online channels. While his peers were primarily focusing on offline markets, SIHOO took the lead in expanding into the online market. However, as competition in the industry became increasingly homogeneous, starting from 2015, Luo Huiping decided to transform the business by focusing on product development and taking a differentiated approach. He cut off the main business in the low-price range and concentrated on the research and production of high-end ergonomic chairs. This strategic adjustment enabled SIHOO to gradually stand out and become an industry leader with an annual revenue of approximately 2 billion yuan.
Mr. Luo, Founder and Chairman of SIHOO: Also a post-80s from Jiangxi, Mr. Luo frequently changed jobs within three years of graduation and faced difficulties in job hunting due to his unremarkable resume, ultimately choosing to start his own business. His family background provided him with an opportunity to enter the ergonomic chair market, as his family had been deeply involved in the furniture industry for many years, mainly dealing in chair products, which accumulated valuable industry experience for him. In the early stages of entrepreneurship, he took advantage of the rise of Taobao to quickly expand into online channels, achieving sales of 100 million yuan for the brand in 2013. However, by the end of 2014, as competition in the industry became increasingly homogeneous, the company faced difficulties. Mr. Luo achieved transformation through measures such as scaling back non-core businesses, focusing on the main business, and increasing investment in technological innovation. He developed the M18 product equipped with a four-way adjustable lumbar support, successfully overcoming the challenges. In 2018, he decided to enter overseas markets to further expand the brand's influence.
Unnamed Entrepreneur: This entrepreneur served as an administrative supervisor for three years and keenly observed the demand for office furniture among startups, as well as the issue of difficulty in disposing of furniture when companies closed down after purchasing new desks and chairs. He started a side business in office furniture rental on March 15, 2022. With an initial capital of 40,000 yuan, he purchased office furniture from the second-hand market and rented it out, reducing risks through a low-cost operating model. Despite initial challenges in promotion, he successfully launched the business and achieved his entrepreneurial goals by optimizing services and expanding the customer base.
