Office Chair Drifting Competition
The Office Chair Drifting Competition, often referred to as the Office Chair Racing Competition, is an entertaining event held in multiple countries. The following provides an introduction from the perspectives of its organization in different countries and related games:

Germany
The purpose of office chair races in Germany is often related to charity fundraising. For example, Bad Koenig-Zell in central Germany has hosted three such events. In the "German Office Chair Racing Championship", the track is an inclined asphalt road with hay bales stacked on both sides. The participating chairs must be standard office chairs with five legs, and the installation of motors and brakes is prohibited, but the addition of handles is allowed. During the race, competitors lean back in their seats, and the chairs slide at high speeds on the rough road, reaching speeds of up to 30 kilometers per hour or even faster. However, due to the presence of small stones on the road, the chairs shake violently during the process, and may even experience death wobbles, which are a great test of the competitors' courage and skills.
Japan
In the office chair racing competition held in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, the participating chairs must be purchased uniformly and cannot be modified. The competition format includes a 30-meter straight preliminary race and an 180-meter circular track final. The office chair racing competition held in Yono City, Japan, features a unique racing method where competitors sit on office chairs and race backward. The competition is divided into two rounds. First, 56 teams compete in the preliminary race, and the winning 28 teams compete for the "Chair Gold Award". Each team consists of 3 competitors who sit on office chairs, kick the ground with their feet, and move backward alternately for 2 hours. The champion's prize is 90 kilograms of locally produced rice from Yamagata Prefecture, and the event has been held for 10 years.
Other Countries and Regions
Olten, Switzerland, hosted an office chair racing competition on June 29th, allowing competitors to use their own modified office chairs, providing more space for creativity and individuality. The first Office Chair Racing Competition in Chengdu, China, was held on June 17th on Jiaozi Financial Street, adopting a corporate team relay format, enhancing the event's teamwork and fun.
Related Games
There are also games themed around office chair drifting, such as "Office Drift". Players become "chair racing experts" in the office, using rotating office chairs instead of sports cars to perform speed and excitement among piles of documents and printers. The game features humorous scenes that blend pixel art with cartoon elements, a free control system, and realistic and interesting physical collision effects.
