Domestic OEM of Office Chairs
Domestic OEM of office chairs is mainly concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions in China. Among them, Anji County in Zhejiang Province in the Yangtze River Delta, and Foshan and Dongguan in the Pearl River Delta are the core production areas, housing many well-known OEM manufacturers.

Represented by Anji County in Zhejiang Province in the Yangtze River Delta region, Anji is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Chairs" and is one of the world's largest production bases for office chairs. The OEM industry in Anji is highly concentrated, forming a complete industrial chain that covers design, production, and sales. The main OEM manufacturers include:
- UE Furniture: It undertakes OEM for internationally renowned brands such as IKEA, Staple, NITORI, ITOKI, Okamura, HON, AIS, and The Office Depot. It also has its own brand, ue/UE Furniture, with products known for ergonomic design and high cost-effectiveness.

The Pearl River Delta region, centered around Foshan and Dongguan, has become a major hub for the domestic furniture industry, leveraging the advantages of Taiwan-funded enterprises. For example, Guojing, as a representative of Taiwan-funded ergonomic chair manufacturers, was an early pioneer in entering the mainland market. With its technological accumulation and supply chain integration capabilities, it has secured a place in the high-end market. In addition, there are numerous small and medium-sized OEM factories in the Pearl River Delta region, mainly serving domestic brands and regional markets, forming a differentiated competitive landscape.
Overall, the domestic OEM industry for office chairs in China is characterized by "regional concentration, brand diversity, and refined division of labor". The Yangtze River Delta focuses on large-scale production and international OEM, while the Pearl River Delta delves deep into niche markets, leveraging the advantages of Taiwan-funded enterprises and technological prowess.
