Office Chair Disassembly Tutorial
Office chairs can be disassembled using different methods depending on their types. Here are disassembly tutorials for several common office chairs:

Disassembling Ergonomic Chairs Without Professional Tools
- Preparing Tools: Hammer, hand drill (or hex screwdriver), towel.
- Removing the Headrest: If the headrest is directly inserted and secured with screws, use a hand drill or hex screwdriver to unscrew the screws and remove the headrest. If the headrest is simply inserted without screw fixation, remove it by applying force directly.
- Removing the Armrests: Observe the position of the armrest screws. If the screws are on the back frame, use a tool to unscrew them. If the screws are on the seat frame, due to space constraints, try unscrewing them by hand.
- Removing the Back Frame: Lay the chair down and locate the three screws securing the back frame to the base. Use a tool to unscrew them and carefully remove the back frame.
- Removing the Hydraulic Rod: Disassemble the components connecting the hydraulic rod to the base and the chair feet respectively. You may need to use a hammer to gently tap and loosen the connections before removing them.
Disassembling Office Chairs and Gas Rods
Face the chair directly, step on the five-star base, and pull the lifting handle upwards to raise the chair to its highest position. Be sure not to release the handle throughout the process. Hold both sides of the chair with your hands. As the chair has been used for a longer time, the friction between it and the gas rod may increase, so more force is required to pull it out. While pulling upwards, you can shake the chair from side to side to help separate the gas rod from the chair and complete the disassembly of the gas rod.
Disassembling Welton Seats
Welton seats feature a one-click disassembly function, making the operation relatively simple. You can pull the disassembly lever on either the left or right side of the seat individually while lifting the seat upwards to complete the one-click disassembly. Alternatively, you can pull the disassembly levers on both the left and right sides of the seat simultaneously to achieve the same result. After disassembly, fold the support legs and then the ISO-FIX interface to put the seat in a storage state.
