Office Chair Disassembly Materials
The materials used in the disassembly of office chairs mainly include the backrest system, cushion and filling, chassis and gas rod configuration, base and caster performance, as well as other special materials.

In terms of the backrest system, the mesh back panel and PP frame are important components. The combination of high-elasticity mesh and PP injection-molded frame has been tested according to BIFMA standards, with a back strength exceeding 1,360 kilograms, capable of supporting the pressure from long hours of office work. Meanwhile, the high-back design is equipped with a 2D headrest that supports an adjustment range of 50mm vertically and 15ยฐ horizontally, accommodating users of different heights and meeting diverse usage needs.
For the cushion and filling, the filling is made of 45kg/mยณ high-density foam with an 82% rebound rate, providing users with a comfortable sitting experience. The surface is covered with a stain-resistant fabric cover for easy cleaning and maintenance. The fixed PP armrests are injection-molded from PP material and have passed the BIFMA X5.1 standard for load-bearing tests, capable of withstanding a static load of 75kg, ensuring the stability and durability of the armrests.
In the chassis and gas rod configuration, the butterfly chassis is made of 2.5mm thick cold-rolled steel plate and uses a four-claw independent adjustment mechanism, supporting a tilt angle adjustment of up to 120ยฐ to accommodate different workstation needs and providing users with a flexible usage experience. The BIFMA Level 3 gas rod has passed international standard certification, with a lifting test cycle of up to 1 million times, ensuring the long-term stability of the gas rod and the reliable operation of the office chair's lifting function.
Regarding the base and caster performance, the nylon base has been certified by BIFMA X5.1, with a diameter of 320mm, a tensile strength of 800MPa, and excellent corrosion resistance, providing a stable support for the office chair. The 50mm diameter nylon PU casters have a rolling friction coefficient of 0.18 - 0.22 and have passed the BIFMA X5.5 standard for static load tests (withstanding a load of 375kg), ensuring smooth rolling and strong load-bearing capacity of the casters.
In addition, for chairs like the Livorno S02 executive chair, the blue-marked contact surfaces are made of European imported top-grain leather, while the other parts are made of PVC artificial leather. The use of such special materials enhances the quality and comfort of the chair.
