Admin October 19, 2026

Currently, there is no direct office chair disassembly diagram available, but you can operate according to the installation and disassembly steps.

Installation Steps

  1. Install the casters and chair base: Install each caster into the corresponding holes on the chair base one by one. Ensure that the casters are firmly installed and can rotate flexibly. This is the fundamental part for the stable support of the office chair.
  2. Insert the gas lift: Place the gas lift vertically into the central hole of the chair base. The gas lift is a key component for adjusting the height of the office chair, so make sure it is installed vertically and firmly.
  3. Fix the base plate and the seat: Place the base plate at an appropriate position on the bottom of the seat. Use screws and other accessories to firmly fix the base plate to the seat. The base plate serves to connect the seat with other components and bear the weight of the human body.
  4. Connect the backrest and the seat: Depending on the connection method between the backrest and the seat, which may be through screw fixation or snap-fit connection, accurately connect the backrest and the seat together. Ensure that the backrest can adjust its angle normally and is firmly connected.
  5. Install the base: Take the part of the seat with the connected backrest and insert the base onto the gas lift. Pay attention to aligning the positions and slowly press down to ensure proper installation.
  6. Install the armrests and the headrest: Finally, according to the design of the office chair, install the armrests at appropriate positions on both sides of the seat and the headrest at the corresponding position on the top of the backrest. Also, use suitable accessories to fix them firmly.

Disassembly Steps

  1. Separate the backrest: If you want to disassemble the base, first separate the backrest to facilitate subsequent operations.
  2. Disassemble the base: Raise the gas lift to the highest position. Hold the seat cushion with one hand and press the lift adjustment lever with the other hand while shaking. This will allow you to remove the base from the gas lift.
  3. Disassemble the gas lift: Turn the chair base upside down and use a rubber mallet to strike the gas lift to remove it from the chair base. If there is rust, you can use WD - 40 rust remover and lubricant to assist in the disassembly.
  4. Caster disassembly and installation: Use needle-nose pliers to pry between the casters to remove them from the chair base. For installation, perform the opposite operation.
