Office Chair Disassembly Diagram
There is no direct disassembly diagram for office chairs, but you can refer to the following disassembly steps for operation:

Disassembling an office chair is more challenging than assembling it, especially after long-term use when the gas lift and chair base are tightly fastened. Avoid disassembly unless absolutely necessary, and always prioritize safety during the process. The main tasks in disassembling an office chair involve separating the seat from the gas lift, the gas lift from the chair base, and detaching other components such as the base and backrest.
Disassembling the base and backrest: First, separate the backrest from the seat and raise the gas lift to its highest position. Hold the seat cushion firmly with one hand and press the height adjustment lever with the other while gently shaking it several times. This will allow you to detach the base from the seat. If you need to further disassemble the gas lift, after separating the base from it, invert the chair base. To protect the components, it's best to use a rubber mallet to knock out the gas lift. If you don't have a rubber mallet, you can place a wooden board under the gas lift and gently tap it with another tool.
Another disassembly method: First, use a screwdriver to remove the four screws on the underside of the seat plate. Then, grasp the fixing iron plate with your hand and lift it upwards. Next, use a hammer to tap down on the chassis (the part with wheels). After inverting the chassis, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the retaining clip in the middle of the chassis. Invert the chassis again, grasp the height adjuster with your hand, and lift it upwards while tapping down on the chassis with a hammer. Additionally, you can first remove the screws of the back cushion, then remove the screws of the chassis, and finally remove all components such as the seat cushion, gas lift, and chair wheels.
During the disassembly process, use appropriate tools and avoid using excessive force to prevent damaging the components of the office chair. For difficult-to-disassemble areas, such as the connections between the seat and the gas lift, and between the gas lift and the chair base, you can try applying some lubricant and wait for a while before attempting disassembly again, which may make it easier.
