Office Chair Deviation Form Guide
When filling out the office chair deviation form, clearly indicate 'Positive Deviation', 'Negative Deviation', or 'No Deviation' based on the comparison between the bidding terms and the bid content, and provide specific explanations.

1. Filling Rules for Positive Deviation When the bid terms are superior to the bidding requirements, mark 'Positive Deviation' and provide a detailed explanation of the specific advantages. For example:
- Material Environmental Protection: If the bidding requires the formaldehyde emission of the office chair to be โค0.5mg/L, and the bid product has undetectable formaldehyde emissions (e.g., โค0.1mg/L), then mark the deviation as 'Positive Deviation' and note in the explanation column that 'formaldehyde emissions are undetectable, superior to bidding requirements'.
- Size Specifications: If the bidding requires the seat width to be โฅ1 meter, and the bid product has a width of 1.2 meters, then mark 'Positive Deviation' and note that 'the seat width is 1.2 meters, exceeding the bidding requirement by 0.2 meters'.
- Function Expansion: If the bidding does not explicitly require adjustable features, but the bid product adds an adjustable lumbar support or armrests, mark 'Positive Deviation' and explain that 'new adjustable lumbar support enhances comfort'.
2. Filling Rules for Negative Deviation When the bid terms do not meet the bidding requirements, mark 'Negative Deviation' and explain the differences. Such cases usually lead to bid rejection and should be handled with caution. For example:
- Insufficient Size: If the bidding requires the seat width to be โฅ1 meter, and the bid product has a width of 0.9 meters, then mark 'Negative Deviation' and note that 'the seat width is 0.9 meters, falling short of the bidding requirement by 0.1 meters'.
- Substandard Material: If the bidding requires the base material to be E1-grade environmental protection board, and the bid product uses E2-grade board, then mark 'Negative Deviation' and explain that 'the base material environmental protection grade is E2, failing to meet the E1 requirement'.
- Missing Function: If the bidding requires the office chair to have a swivel function, but the bid product is fixed, then mark 'Negative Deviation' and note that 'the swivel function is missing, not meeting the bidding requirement'.
3. Filling Rules for No Deviation When the bid terms fully comply with the bidding requirements, simply mark 'No Deviation'. For example:
- Material Description: If the bidding requires the seat fabric to be breathable mesh, and the bid product uses the same material, then mark 'No Deviation'.
- Base Material Requirement: If the bidding requires the base material to be high-density foam, and the bid product uses the same material, then mark 'No Deviation'.
- Edge Banding Process: If the bidding requires the edge banding to be PVC material, and the bid product complies, then mark 'No Deviation'.
Notes: Technical deviation forms usually do not allow negative deviations, and negative deviations in commercial terms (such as contract duration, payment terms) also lead to bid rejection. When filling out, prioritize ensuring no deviation, only mark positive deviation when clearly superior to bidding requirements, and provide specific parameter explanations.
