Office Chair Delivery and Assembly

Admin October 16, 2026

The assembly steps for office chairs after delivery are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Chair Wheels and Gas Lift Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and secure. Then, flip the five-star base so that the wheels face downward. Place the thicker end of the gas lift vertically against the center hole of the five-star base, ensuring that the gas lift is aligned with the center of the base and firmly inserted.

Step 2: Secure the Seat Base and Cushion Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the seat base (usually marked or with grooves corresponding to the cushion structure). After aligning the four screw holes, sequentially screw in the four B screws about 3-4 turns (avoid tightening them all at once to prevent misalignment), and then fully tighten them one by one to ensure a firm connection between the seat base and the cushion.

Step 3: Connect the Cushion and Gas Lift Align the bottom of the assembled cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically downward until the hole in the seat base fully covers the gas lift, ensuring that there are no gaps or wobbling at the connection between the cushion and the gas lift.

Step 4: Install the Backrest Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the cushion. First, insert the bottom of the backrest and use two C screws to pass through the holes from the bottom of the armrest brackets to initially secure the bottom of the backrest. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the corresponding holes on the cushion brackets. Use two wrenches in combination with D screws (usually locking screws) to tighten the backrest to the cushion brackets, ensuring that the backrest is vertical and without left-right misalignment.

Step 5: Secure the Armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (some models may require pressing an adjustment buckle), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, ensuring that the armrests are aligned with the edges of the cushion and secure.

Step 6: Install the Headrest Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit against the backrest, and use two E screws to pass through the holes of the headrest fixing buckles. First, screw them in about 3-4 turns to adjust the position, and then fully tighten them one by one to ensure that the headrest is stable and at an appropriate height.

Precautions:

  • Before assembly, check that all accessories are complete to avoid missing screws or tools.
  • When screwing in the screws, tighten them in stages to prevent parts from being misaligned due to unilateral force.
  • After installing the gas lift, test whether the lifting function works normally to ensure there is no jamming or air leakage.
  • If the backrest or armrest wobbles after installation, recheck whether the screws are tightened or whether the holes are aligned.
