Office Chair Delivery and Installation

Admin October 14, 2026

The delivery and installation process of office chairs typically includes the following steps:

Step 1: Install the Chair Wheels and Gas Lift Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and secure. Then, flip the five-star base over and place the thicker end of the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the base, ensuring a stable connection between the gas lift and the base. Pay attention to keeping the direction of the chair wheels consistent, and the gas lift should be able to extend and retract freely without wobbling after installation.

Step 2: Secure the Seat Base and Cushion Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, noting the orientation of the base (usually the side with the adjustment buttons faces forward). After aligning the screw holes of the base and the cushion, use a screwdriver to screw in each screw 3-4 turns in sequence, ensuring all screws are initially fixed before tightening them one by one. Avoid missing screws or uneven tightening force in this step to prevent a loose connection between the base and the cushion.

Step 3: Connect the Cushion and Gas Lift Align the assembled cushion with the top of the gas lift and slowly insert it into the base hole until it is fully engaged. Keep the cushion level during insertion to prevent the gas lift from tilting, which could lead to instability during subsequent use. After insertion, gently press down on the cushion to test the firmness of the connection, ensuring there is no up-and-down movement.

Step 4: Install the Backrest and Armrests Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the cushion. First, use two C-screws to secure the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, ensuring an initial connection between the backrest and the cushion. Then, align the back of the backrest with the installation holes on the cushion brackets and use two wrenches to lock the D-screws in place, ensuring a tight and gap-free connection between the backrest and the cushion brackets. When installing the armrests, press the button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the armrest bracket holes respectively, ensuring they are fully inserted and secure.

Step 5: Secure the Headrest and Final Inspection Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest and press down on the headrest installation area to make it fit snugly against the backrest. Thread two screws through the headrest mounting clips, screw them in loosely 3-4 turns first, and then tighten them one by one until fully secured. After installation, conduct a comprehensive inspection to ensure all screws are tightened, the chair wheels rotate smoothly, and the gas lift rises and lowers smoothly, ensuring the overall structural stability and normal functionality of the office chair.
