The specific steps are as follows: first, remove the seat base, then weld or bolt a metal frame, and finally install the casters. The total cost can be controlled within 300 yuan (about 300 yuan for GL8 fabric seats and about 500 yuan for leather seats). The modified seats support multi-angle adjustments and can even lie flat completely, suitable for young white-collar workers and gaming enthusiasts with limited budgets who enjoy hands-on fun. However, it is important to ensure the stability of the metal frame and the load-bearing capacity of the casters during the modification process to ensure safety.

Renovation of Old Office Chairs: For old office chairs, the texture can be enhanced by stripping off the old leather and re-covering them with diamond-patterned leather. Diamond-patterned leather offers good wear resistance and breathability, and its stylish appearance can significantly improve the look and user experience of old office chairs. During the renovation process, attention should be paid to the cutting and sewing techniques of the leather to ensure a flat appearance and smooth lines of the renovated seat.
