Office Chair Component Connection

Admin October 22, 2026

The connection methods for office chair components mainly consist of the following steps:

First, connect the chair base with the casters. The chair base is the wheeled support part at the bottom of the office chair, while the casters are the key components that enable the chair to move. During installation, each caster should be individually installed onto the chair base, ensuring that each caster is firmly fixed in the corresponding mounting holes on the chair base. After installing the chair base, place the gas lift vertically in the center of the chair base. The gas lift is an important component for adjusting the chair's height, and its vertical placement ensures the normal functioning of the chair's height adjustment feature.

Next, connect the seat pan with the chair base. The seat pan is the key structure that connects the cushion with components such as the chair base, while the chair seat is the sitting surface of the chair. Fix the seat pan to the chair seat using screws. During installation, make sure the screws are tightened to ensure a tight connection between the seat pan and the chair seat, preventing looseness during use, which could affect the chair's stability and comfort.

Then, connect the chair back with the chair seat. The chair back is the mesh support part at the back of the chair, providing back support for the user. After the chair seat is installed, connect the chair back and the chair seat. The specific connection method may vary depending on the chair's design, but generally, a relatively stable connection structure is used to ensure that the chair back can withstand the user's pressure while providing comfortable back support.

After that, connect the base with the gas lift. The base is an important part that connects the chair seat with other components. Insert the base vertically onto the gas lift, ensuring a tight connection between the base and the gas lift. This way, when adjusting the chair's height, the base can move smoothly with the extension and retraction of the gas lift.

Finally, install the armrests and the headrest. The armrests are the parts on both sides of the chair where the user can place their arms, while the headrest provides support for the user's head. Install the armrests and the headrest in their respective positions according to the design requirements to complete the assembly of the entire office chair. During installation, pay attention to the positional relationships and the degree of connection firmness between the various components to ensure that the assembled office chair can be used normally and provide a comfortable and stable sitting experience for the user.
