Classification of Office Chairs
Office chairs can mainly be classified into three categories: narrow office chairs, broad office chairs, and ergonomic chairs. Computer chairs, designed specifically for office and study scenarios, also come in various types.

Narrow office chairs are the most basic and specialized backrest chairs. Their primary task is to help users maintain a generally correct sitting posture at the desk, with simple and direct functions. These chairs typically have a simple design without excessive complex adjustment features, mainly meeting basic sitting support needs. They are suitable for scenarios where users have low requirements for chair functions and only need simple support to complete daily office tasks.
Broad office chairs encompass various types of seats for different roles in the office, such as executive chairs, staff chairs, and conference chairs. Executive chairs are generally used in the offices of senior corporate management personnel, with a design that emphasizes luxury and comfort. They are usually equipped with larger seats and backrests, as well as a variety of adjustment features to accommodate long hours of office work and receiving visitors. Staff chairs are used by ordinary employees for daily office work, focusing on cost-effectiveness and practicality while ensuring a certain level of comfort. Their design is relatively simple, with functions mainly meeting basic office needs. Conference chairs are mainly used in conference rooms, with a design that is typically lightweight for easy movement and placement, while ensuring a certain level of comfort to meet the needs of sitting for extended periods during meetings.
Ergonomic chairs are seats that actively adapt to the body through scientific design. Their core functions include lumbar support, which can provide precise support according to the curve of the human lumbar spine to reduce lumbar pressure; multi-dimensional adjustment features, such as seat height, seat depth, backrest angle, armrest height, and angle, which can be adjusted to meet the needs of people with different heights, body types, and usage habits; and breathable material selection, using fabrics with good breathability to keep the body dry and improve comfort during long hours of use.
In addition, computer chairs, designed specifically for office and study scenarios, are mainly divided into types such as work chairs, student chairs, mid-back chairs, executive chairs, conference chairs, and chess and card chairs. Different types of computer chairs also vary in design and function according to specific usage scenarios and needs.
