Office Chair Casters
Office chair casters are one of the core components of office chairs. The following provides an introduction from three aspects: installation, cleaning, and replacement:

Installation
Take the T37 hollow casters as an example. During installation, certain steps need to be followed. First, point the arrow on the tray towards the front side of the cushion. This operation helps determine the initial installation direction of the caster assembly. Then, align the backrest with the holes on the cushion, ensuring that one side of a hole is aligned with the protruding position on the backrest and snapped in to ensure a precise connection between the backrest and the cushion. In addition, you can also perform the operation of loosening the rocking knob. This step is usually to adjust the rocking function of the chair to make it more comfortable during use. After that, install the chair legs and the gas lift. The chair legs provide stable support for the chair, and the gas lift is responsible for adjusting the height of the chair. Finally, install the tray screws (6x18) to firmly connect the tray with other parts of the chair, ensuring that the caster assembly is properly installed so that the chair can be used normally.
Cleaning
There are several methods for cleaning office chair casters. If the casters are entangled with hair, you can first use very small scissors to deal with it, although this method is relatively time-consuming. After cleaning the hair, wet the used face towel and let it dry in the shade. Use the textured side against the wheels, wrap the face towel around the wheels, and secure it with a rubber band. Sit on the chair and move it back and forth. The dirt on the wheels will rub onto the face towel. Repeat this process several times, and the wheels will be clean. Then, use a cloth to wipe the floor. You can also stick invisible tape on the wheels. When sticking it, don't make it too flat; make it a bit wrinkled. This can prevent the wheels from being too slippery. It can be done in just over a minute, and there is almost no sticky feeling on the wheels after tearing it off.
Replacement
When you need to replace the casters, first lay the chair down so that the casters are in a position that is easy to operate. Then, pull the casters outwards against the direction of the force core. Since the casters have a snap ring that is inserted into a hole at one corner to hold the casters in place, when inserting it, keep pushing inwards along the direction of the hole to ensure that the snap ring is accurately engaged, so as to smoothly pull out the old casters and then install the new ones.
