II. Replacement Methods
- Screw-Fixed Type: Use a screwdriver or wrench to unscrew the screws connecting the caster to the chair frame counterclockwise. After removing the old caster, align the new caster with the hole and tighten the screws clockwise.
- Insert Rod Type: Simply pull out the old caster by hand. If it is stuck due to long-term use, use pliers to grip the rod and tap the top of the rod lightly with a hammer to loosen it before pulling it out. When installing the new caster, align it with the hole on the chair frame and press it firmly until it is fully inserted.
III. Precautions Before replacement, ensure that the caster specifications match the chair frame to avoid installation failure due to size mismatch. If the chair frame is rusted or damaged, repair it before replacing the caster. After long-term use, it is recommended to regularly check the wear condition of the casters and replace them in a timely manner to ensure safety and smooth movement.
