Office Chair Caster Wheels

Information about office chair caster wheels is as follows:

Replacement Method:
When replacing office chair wheels, first lay the chair down so that the wheels are facing upwards for easier operation. Locate the force core of the caster (the axle connecting the wheel to the chair leg), and pull the caster outwards against the direction of the force core. Casters usually have a snap-ring structure that inserts into a hole in the corner of the chair leg for fixation. When installing, align the snap-ring with the hole and push it in continuously in the direction of the hole until the snap-ring is fully seated in the hole, ensuring the wheel is secure and does not loosen.

Cleaning Tips:

  1. Hair Entanglement Handling: If the wheel is entangled with hair, use small scissors to gradually cut the hair along the direction of entanglement. Be patient during operation to avoid damaging the wheel surface.
  2. Wheel Dirt Cleaning: Wet a used face towel and let it air-dry to retain some moisture. Wrap the wheel with the textured side of the towel and secure it with a rubber band. Sit on the chair and move back and forth, using friction to transfer the dirt to the face towel. Repeat the operation until the wheel is clean.
  3. Preventing Floor Stains: Wrap the wheel with invisible tape (of moderate width and weak adhesiveness). Keep the surface slightly wrinkled when sticking to reduce tape residue and increase friction, preventing the wheel from being too slippery and causing floor scratches or stain spread.

Installation Example (Taking the T37 hollow caster as an example):

  1. Tray Direction: Point the arrow on the tray towards the front of the seat cushion to ensure the correct installation direction.
  2. Backrest and Seat Cushion Connection: Align the backrest with the holes on the seat cushion, and engage the hole side with the protruding part of the backrest to ensure a secure connection.
  3. Function Adjustment: After installation, loosen the rocking knob to allow the seat to rock back and forth. Install the connecting parts of the tray, backrest and seat cushion, and chair leg and chair body in sequence.
  4. Accessory Usage: Use accessories such as tray mounting screws (with a specification of 6x18) to gradually fix each part according to the instructions, avoiding omissions or incorrect installations.

Product Example:
The Decathlon caster chair features a lightweight design and is equipped with universal wheels, allowing for flexible movement without taking up much space. The silent casters reduce movement noise and keep the desktop clean. It is ergonomically designed for comfortable sitting for long periods, suitable for office or study scenarios.
