Office Chair Built-in Nut

Admin October 09, 2026

Office chair built-in nuts are commonly known as four-claw nuts or cylindrical nuts (also called embedded nuts).

Four-claw nuts:
Their core feature is a claw-like structure, which allows them to be better embedded into materials such as wood during installation. In the manufacturing of office chairs, they are often used at the connection points between wooden chair seats and legs. The specific installation method involves embedding them into the holes in the chair legs and then securing them with screws. This connection method ensures a firm and reliable connection between the chair seat and legs, effectively preventing looseness or wobbling during use and providing stable sitting support for users. For example, in some traditional-style office chairs, since the seats and legs are mostly made of wood, four-claw nuts can effectively play a fixing role and ensure the structural stability of the chairs.

Cylindrical nuts (embedded nuts):
They are embedded into chair components through embedding or pressing processes. They have a cylindrical appearance, a smooth surface, and an internal threaded hole. These nuts are often embedded into components such as chair legs and armrests for concealed installation. The characteristic of concealed installation makes the chair look cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing, without the nuts being exposed and affecting the overall appearance. At the same time, they can also improve the overall strength and stability of the chair. In some high-end office chairs, cylindrical nuts are widely used at key connection points. For instance, in the connections between the legs and seats of high-end office chairs, as well as between the armrests and chair bodies, the use of cylindrical nuts can not only ensure connection strength but also enhance the quality and grade of the chairs, meeting the dual demands of high-end users for the quality and appearance of office chairs.
