Installation of Bow-Shaped Office Chair

Admin October 14, 2026

The installation of the Zhufu Model C bow-shaped computer chair should be carried out according to the following steps, and you can also refer to the general installation precautions:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Check the Quantity of Parts: After opening the package, ensure that all components are present, including the seat cushion, backrest, headrest, triangular cover, footrest, non-slip mat, support frame, two bow-shaped frames, one dual-start tray, two armrests, and matching screws (such as four screws for tray installation). If any parts are missing, contact the merchant for replacement to avoid interruption during installation.
  2. Inspect Tools: Prepare tools such as a cross-head screwdriver to ensure smooth operation when tightening screws.

II. Specific Installation Steps

  1. Install the Tray and Seat Cushion: Align the dual-start tray with the mounting holes on the bottom of the seat cushion and secure it with four screws. Note that the screws should be tightened but avoid excessive force to prevent stripping. The tray is a core component connecting the seat cushion to the bow-shaped frame, and unstable installation may cause the chair to wobble.
  2. Assemble the Bow-Shaped Frame and Support Frame: Connect the two bow-shaped frames to the support frame using screws or clips (refer to the instruction manual for specific methods). The bow-shaped frames should be installed symmetrically to ensure even force distribution and prevent deformation due to excessive load on one side.
  3. Install the Armrests: Align the armrests with the holes on both sides of the seat cushion, insert them slowly, and press gently until they fit snugly. After aligning the holes, secure them with screws and ensure the washers are properly installed to reduce friction and enhance stability. If the armrests are loose, check if the screws are tightened or if any washers are missing.
  4. Install the Backrest and Headrest: Secure the backrest to the rear of the seat cushion using screws or clips, and insert the headrest into the reserved hole at the top of the backrest. Adjust the height of the headrest to a comfortable position to ensure proper neck support.
  5. Install the Footrest and Non-Slip Mat: If the chair is equipped with a footrest, secure it to the front of the bow-shaped frame; attach the non-slip mat to the bottom of the bow-shaped frame to enhance friction between the chair and the floor and prevent sliding.

III. General Installation Precautions

  1. Control the Force: When installing components such as armrests and trays, avoid using excessive force to tighten screws to prevent damage to parts or enlargement of holes.
  2. Align the Holes: Ensure that all connecting parts are fully aligned before securing them to prevent structural misalignment of the chair.
  3. Function Testing: After installation, check if functions such as chair height adjustment and rotation (if applicable) are working properly, and ensure that the armrests and backrest are stable.

If hole misalignment or part mismatch occurs during installation, pause the operation and contact after-sales service. Do not force assembly.
