When the user tightens the knob, the range of backward recline decreases, and the resilience becomes stronger, meaning the chair will return to its original state more quickly after being subjected to pressure. Conversely, if the user slightly loosens the knob, the range of backward recline increases, and the resilience weakens accordingly, providing a more comfortable resting experience for the user.
Adjusting the chair height: The knob can also be used to adjust the height of the chair. By rotating the knob, the piston inside the connected gas spring starts to work, using pressure differences to raise or lower the chair.
