Office Chair Bottom Installation
The installation of the bottom part of an office chair can generally be carried out according to the following steps:

Step 1: Install the casters and chair base
Casters are crucial components for the mobility of an office chair, and the chair base usually has a five-claw structure. Insert each caster into the five-claw assembly holes of the chair base one by one. Ensure that the casters fit perfectly with the assembly holes to avoid looseness or misalignment. After insertion, gently shake the casters to check if they are firmly installed. If the casters are not firmly installed, they may fall off during subsequent use, affecting the normal operation of the office chair.
Step 2: Install the gas lift
The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the height of an office chair. Place the thicker end of the gas lift into the center hole of the chair base, ensuring that the gas lift is perpendicular to the chair base and accurately aligned with the center hole. If the gas lift is not installed vertically or is not accurately aligned with the hole, it may not function properly, resulting in uneven lifting or even damage.
Step 3: Install the seat plate and seat
The seat plate is an important component that connects the seat and the gas lift, serving a supporting and adjusting function. Place the seat plate on the seat, paying attention to the orientation of the seat plate to ensure it matches the design of the seat. Align the screw holes on the seat plate and the seat, and then screw in and tighten the screws one by one. Different models of office chairs may have some differences in the installation of the seat plate and the seat. Some descriptions suggest fixing the seat plate to the seat with screws, while others recommend placing the base frame first and not tightening the screws until all components are installed, which allows for easy adjustment of the positions of the components during installation.
Step 4: Connect the seat to the gas lift
Align the seat with the installed seat plate and insert it into the hole of the seat plate, or vertically insert the base onto the gas lift. Insert it slowly and steadily to ensure a complete connection between the seat and the gas lift. After connection, try adjusting the height of the office chair to check if the connection between the gas lift and the seat is firm and if the lifting function of the gas lift is normal.
