Office Chair Bidding
Office chair bidding involves multiple key links and elements, with differences in procurement methods, budgets, and requirements across different projects.

Diverse procurement methods: Common methods include competitive negotiation and public bidding. For example, the office chair procurement project of Zhejiang Cancer Hospital adopts competitive negotiation, which emphasizes full communication and negotiation with suppliers to achieve the optimal procurement plan. In contrast, procurement projects such as those for office desks and chairs at Qinghai University of Science and Technology and school desks, chairs, and office furniture at Chengbei Middle School use public bidding to attract numerous suppliers through an open, fair, and just process.
Clear budget amounts and maximum price limits: Each project sets a budget amount and a maximum price limit, which are crucial for procurement cost control. The budget and maximum price limit for the Zhejiang Cancer Hospital project are 350,000 yuan; for the Qinghai University of Science and Technology project, it is 570,000 yuan; and for the Chengbei Middle School and other school projects, it reaches as high as 4,977,113 yuan. These amounts restrict procurement costs, and suppliers' bid prices must not exceed the maximum price limit.
Differences in procurement requirements and contract performance periods: Regarding procurement requirements, some projects provide brief descriptions, such as the Zhejiang Cancer Hospital project, while others offer detailed explanations, as seen in the Chengbei Middle School and other school projects, which refer to Chapter III for specific procurement requirements. Contract performance periods also vary. The Zhejiang Cancer Hospital project follows the requirements of the procurement documents; the Chengbei Middle School and other school projects require completion of all supply, installation, and commissioning within 20 calendar days after receiving the purchaser's written notice following contract signing; and the Jingzhou Dongfanghong Middle School project requires completion of supply, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and handover within 30 calendar days from the contract signing date.
Different regulations on joint bidding: Some projects accept joint bidding, such as the Zhejiang Cancer Hospital project, which facilitates resource integration and leverages the strengths of various suppliers. In contrast, the Qinghai University of Science and Technology project and the Chengbei Middle School and other school projects do not accept joint bidding, emphasizing the independent performance capability of a single supplier.
Requirements for obtaining bidding documents and submitting bid documents: Each project specifies the location for obtaining bidding documents and the deadline for submitting bid documents. Suppliers must obtain the bidding documents within the specified time and submit their bid documents by the deadline; otherwise, they will lose their bidding qualifications.
