Office Chair Bench Installation
It is generally recommended to install an office chair from the bottom up. Here are the detailed installation steps and precautions:

1. Install the casters and chair legs Install each caster onto the chair legs one by one, ensuring a firm connection between each caster and the chair legs. After installation, place the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the chair legs, making sure the gas lift is vertically aligned with the chair legs to avoid wobbling during subsequent use. Some office chairs may have five casters, so confirm the installation method according to the number of accessories.
2. Install the base and seat Use screws to fix the base to the seat, paying attention to matching the screw specifications (for example, some models use No. 3 screws). Specifically, first place the base on the seat cushion, align it with the four screw holes, then screw in the four screws 3 - 4 turns one by one, and finally tighten them gradually to avoid tilting the base due to unilateral force. The base is a key component connecting the seat and the gas lift, so ensure it is firmly installed.
3. Connect the backrest and seat Choose the fixing method according to the backrest design:
- If the backrest has armrest brackets, first use two C-screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, then align the back of the backrest with the installation holes of the seat cushion brackets, and use D-screws to lock them with double wrenches to ensure a stable connection between the backrest and the seat.
- If the backrest is directly connected to the seat, check whether the installation holes match to avoid misalignment of the screws and a loose structure.
4. Install the gas lift and base Vertically insert the installed seat part into the top of the gas lift, ensuring sufficient insertion depth (for some models, align the seat cushion with the gas lift and insert it into the base hole). The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the height of the office chair. Keep it vertical during installation to avoid tilting, which may lead to the failure of the lifting function or safety hazards.
5. Install the armrests and headrest
- Armrests: Press the button below the armrest surface, insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, and a "click" sound indicates that they are properly installed. Some models require using No. 1 screws to fix the armrests to the brackets, so operate according to the accessory instructions.
- Headrest: Place the headrest in the middle of the top of the backrest, press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit the backrest, and use two screws to pass through the headrest fixing buckles and tighten them (first screw them in 3 - 4 turns and then tighten them one by one) to ensure the headrest is stable and does not wobble.
Precautions:
- The number of accessories and screw specifications may vary among different models of office chairs (for example, there may be 4 accessories or 5 casters). Carefully check the instruction manual before installation.
- Tighten the screws in stages to avoid structural deformation due to excessive unilateral force.
- After installation, check whether the connections of all components are firm and test whether functions such as lifting and rotation are normal.
