Office Chair Base Assembly
The assembly steps for an office chair base mainly consist of three steps, as follows:

First, use long screws to initially fix the base to the seat plate. Select 4 long screws and pass them through the pre-designed mounting holes on the base, then screw them into the threaded holes on the bottom of the seat plate. The key to this step is to ensure precise alignment between the screws and the holes to avoid looseness or abnormal noise during subsequent use due to misalignment. The length of the long screws should be reasonably selected according to the thickness of the seat plate and the base to ensure that the screw ends do not protrude too much after connection, affecting the overall aesthetics and safety.
Next, connect the base to the seat cushion. Use 4 M6*16 base screws and 4 8mm washers to fix the base to the seat cushion. The specifications of the M6*16 base screws indicate a diameter of 6 millimeters and a length of 16 millimeters. This size of screw provides sufficient connection strength without interfering with other components due to excessive length. The 8mm washers serve to distribute pressure and protect the surface of the seat cushion, preventing damage caused by direct screw compression. During installation, first place the washers on the mounting holes of the seat cushion, then pass the screws through the washers and the holes on the base, and tighten them with a screwdriver or power tool, ensuring a firm connection without excessive force to avoid damaging the threads.
Finally, connect the backrest to the tail plate of the base. Use 4 backrest fixing screws (M8*20) to connect the backrest to the tail plate of the base, with the screws locked into the four holes near the outer edge of the tail plate. The M8*20 screws have a diameter of 8 millimeters and a length of 20 millimeters. These larger screws can withstand the significant tensile and compressive forces generated by the backrest during use, ensuring the stability of the backrest. During installation, align the mounting holes of the backrest with those of the base tail plate, then insert the screws one by one and tighten them to ensure a tight connection between the backrest and the base without any wobbling.
After completing these three steps, the assembly of the office chair base is basically complete. However, simple debugging and inspection are still required to ensure that all components are firmly connected and operate smoothly, guaranteeing the normal use and safety of the office chair.
