The main bases for office chairs are Anji in Zhejiang and Longjiang Town in Shunde, Guangdong. Here is a detailed introduction to these two bases:
Anji, Zhejiang: Anji, a county under the jurisdiction of Huzhou City in Zhejiang Province, is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Chairs" and the "Capital of World Chairs". It is the world's largest production base for office chairs. Anji has a long history of chair industry development and a solid industrial foundation, with over 1,200 chair enterprises, of which 52.08% are above a certain scale. These enterprises have formed a complete industrial chain in the design, production, and sales of office chairs, with close connections between each link from raw material supply to finished product manufacturing, creating an efficient "30-minute parts circle" where enterprises can obtain the required parts within 30 minutes, greatly improving production efficiency. Anji's chair industry accounts for one-third of the domestic market share and its export volume is as high as over 50% of the national total. The total annual output value of the industrial chain exceeds 50 billion yuan, demonstrating strong industrial competitiveness and market influence.
Longjiang Town, Shunde, Guangdong: Guangdong Jingyi Furniture Co., Ltd., located in Longjiang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, is another important base in the field of office chairs. The company is a national high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D, design, production, manufacturing, and sales of office seating. It has two major bases (the headquarters base in Longjiang, Shunde, and the R&D and production base in Xiqiao, Nanhai) with a total of four factory areas and ten business divisions, covering a total operating area of 340,000 square meters.
