Office Chair Backrest Fixed
The methods for fixing the backrest of an office chair mainly fall into two categories: fixing during installation and adjusting and fixing during use, as detailed below:

Fixing the Backrest During Installation
When installing an office chair and fixing the backrest, it is necessary to follow certain steps using specific screws. First, align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the installation positions on the armrests of the seat cushion and insert them. This step ensures the initial connection between the backrest and the seat cushion, laying the foundation for subsequent fixing operations. Next, use two C-screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets. This operation can initially stabilize the position of the backrest and prevent it from shifting during subsequent operations. Then, align the installation holes on the back of the backrest with those on the seat cushion brackets. This step requires careful operation to ensure precise alignment of the installation holes; otherwise, it will affect the effectiveness of subsequent fixing. Finally, use two wrenches to lock and fix the backrest and the seat cushion brackets together with D-screws. Using two wrenches allows for more stable tightening of the screws, ensuring a firm connection between the backrest and the seat cushion brackets, thus completing the fixing of the backrest during installation.
Adjusting and Fixing the Backrest During Use
During the use of an office chair, the methods for adjusting and fixing the backrest vary depending on the type of chair.
- Knob-type: There is usually a round knob under the chair. By rotating it clockwise, you can increase the resistance of the chair back until it locks. This adjustment method is relatively simple and intuitive. Users can control the degree of fixation of the chair back according to their own needs. When rotated to the appropriate resistance, the chair back can remain fixed.
- Lever-type: There is a lever on the side or under the chair. By moving the lever to a specific position, such as the "lock" mark, you can fix the chair back. The lever-type adjustment is convenient to operate. Users only need to find the lever and move it to the corresponding position to quickly achieve the fixation of the chair back, which is suitable for users who need to frequently adjust the state of the chair back.
- Button-type: Some computer chairs have a dedicated button. Pressing the button can lock the recline angle of the chair back. This adjustment method is even more convenient. Users only need to gently press the button to complete the fixation operation of the chair back without performing complex rotation or lever-moving actions.
