Office Chair Assembly Details
The assembly of an office chair should be carried out in a specific order and according to standards. Here are the detailed assembly steps:
Installation of Chair Wheels and Pneumatic Rod: There are two common methods. First, insert each chair wheel into the five-claw assembly holes one by one, then flip the five-claw and place the thicker end of the pneumatic rod into the center hole of the five-claw. Second, install each caster onto the chair legs one by one. After installing the chair legs, place the pneumatic rod vertically into the center of the chair legs. This step is the foundation of office chair installation. Ensure that the chair wheels are firmly installed and the pneumatic rod is accurately placed to provide stable support for subsequent installations.
Installation of the Seat Base and Cushion: Place the seat base on the cushion, paying attention to its orientation. Align it with the four screw holes, then lightly screw in the four B screws about 3 - 4 turns one by one, and finally tighten them completely. Alternatively, you can directly fix the seat base to the chair seat with screws. The key to this step is the precise alignment of the seat base and cushion and the firm tightening of the screws to ensure a tight connection and prevent looseness during use.
Connection of the Cushion and Pneumatic Rod: Align the cushion with the pneumatic rod and insert it into the base hole, or vertically insert the base onto the pneumatic rod. Ensure a smooth connection and proper insertion so that the office chair can rise, fall, and rotate normally.
Installation of the Backrest: Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the installation positions on the armrests of the cushion and insert them. First, use two C screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the cushion brackets, and use two wrenches to lock and fix the backrest and cushion brackets with D screws. During installation, for parts with indicator arrows, install them according to the arrows. When installing the screws related to the backrest, you may need to slightly adjust the angle for easier installation.
Installation of the Armrests: Press the button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. Pay attention to applying an appropriate amount of force to ensure that the armrests are inserted in place and firmly installed.
Installation of the Headrest: Place the headrest in the middle at the top of the backrest, press the installation area of the headrest to make it fit the backrest better, and fix it with two E screws through the headrest fixing buckles. Lightly screw in the two screws about 3 - 4 turns one by one and then tighten them completely. Finally, install the armrests and headrest to complete the assembly of the entire office chair.
