Office Chair Assembly and Production

The assembly of an office chair mainly consists of three steps, while its production involves multiple processes such as frame construction, spring installation, and leather treatment.

Office Chair Assembly Steps

• Installing the Wheels: Attach the five wheels to the five-star base of the office chair one by one, ensuring that each wheel is firmly seated in its corresponding hole. This is the foundation for the chair's flexible movement.
• Installing the Gas Lift: Insert the gas lift into the central hole of the five-star base. The gas lift is a crucial component for adjusting the height of the office chair. During installation, ensure that the gas lift is perpendicular to the five-star base and tightly connected to prevent wobbling or detachment during use.
• Installing the Base and Seat Plate: Place the base beneath the seat plate and secure it to the seat plate using four long screws. During installation, pay attention to the tightness of the screws. Loose screws may result in an unstable connection between the base and the seat plate, while overly tight screws may damage the components.
• Connecting the Backrest and Seat: Connect the backrest to the seat plate using angle brackets and tighten the screws. During installation, pay special attention to the orientation requirements for the black fabric in some assembly steps to ensure that it is installed correctly, thereby maintaining the chair's aesthetics and functionality.

Office Chair Production Process

• Frame Construction: Workers use hydraulic-powered machines to bend 14-gauge steel tubes into shape to create the frame for the bottom cushion. Connect the ends and weld steel bars in the middle to enhance the frame's stability and strength. Construct the backrest frame of the chair, including the spine, armrest attachments, and other components, and smooth out any burrs or rough areas on the steel to ensure a smooth surface and prevent scratches to users during use.
• Spring Installation: Hang S-shaped steel springs from the front to the back of the seat frame. These springs provide good elasticity and support for the seat. Then, place horizontal bars and clamp them onto the springs to further increase the seat's stability and support.
• Leather Treatment: Smooth out the leather to remove surface imperfections and unevenness. Cut leather patterns according to cardboard templates, avoiding natural flaws on the leather during the cutting process to ensure high-quality leather components.
• Foam Cushion Cutting: Cut foam cushions for the backrest of the chair. The foam cushions provide comfortable support and cushioning for users, enhancing the comfort of the office chair.
