Office Chair Assembly
The assembly steps for an office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Chair Base and Casters Insert each caster into the mounting holes of the five-pronged chair base, ensuring that each caster is fully embedded. After flipping the chair base, vertically align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the chair base and insert it, ensuring a secure connection between the gas lift and the chair base. Some assembly methods recommend installing the casters onto the chair base first, then placing the gas lift directly into the center of the chair base, noting that the gas lift should be oriented with the thicker end facing down.
Step 2: Secure the Seat Plate to the Seat Place the seat plate on the bottom of the seat, paying attention to the orientation of the seat plate (usually marked or with grooves corresponding to the seat structure). After aligning the four screw holes of the seat plate with those of the seat, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in 3-4 turns initially to secure the seat plate in place, then tighten all screws sequentially to prevent the seat plate from shifting due to unilateral force. Some assembly methods directly use screws to fix the seat plate to the seat, ensuring that the screws fully penetrate and are tightened.
Step 3: Connect the Seat to the Gas Lift Align the center hole at the bottom of the seat with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically downward until fully seated. Some assembly methods require the entire base with the seat installed to be vertically slipped over the gas lift, ensuring that there are no gaps between the gas lift and the seat to prevent loosening during subsequent use.
Step 4: Install the Backrest Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest mounting holes on both sides of the seat and slowly insert them until the bottom fully contacts the seat frame. First, use two screws to pass through the holes from the bottom of the armrest frame to secure the bottom of the backrest; then align the mounting holes at the back of the backrest with the corresponding holes on the seat frame, using two wrenches to secure both ends of the screws and tighten them using a โdouble-lockingโ method to ensure a secure connection between the backrest and the seat. Some assembly methods directly connect the backrest to the seat frame after the seat is installed.
Step 5: Install the Armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (some armrests require pressing a clip), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest frame respectively, ensuring that the armrests are fully embedded and do not wobble. Some assembly methods require using screws to fix the armrests to the frame or using 6*30 screws to lock the connection between the backrest and the armrests. In this case, first align the screws with the holes but do not tighten them completely, then tighten them one by one after all screws are aligned to prevent the armrests from tilting due to unilateral force.
Step 6: Install the Headrest Align the bottom of the headrest with the center position at the top of the backrest and gently press the headrest mounting area to make it fit snugly against the backrest. Pass screws through the holes of the headrest mounting clips to connect the headrest to the backrest, first screwing each screw in 3-4 turns initially, then tightening all screws sequentially to ensure that the headrest is secure and does not wobble. If there are two holes at the back of the chair headrest, align them and tighten them with screws.
