Office Chair and Table Leg Installation
Admin October 10, 2026
The installation of office chair and table legs should be carried out according to the installation sequence of the office chair and the key points of table installation respectively.

Installation of Office Chair Legs (Five-Star Base)
- Install Casters: Prepare the five-star base and casters of the office chair. Align the casters with the holes on each leg of the five-star base and press firmly to ensure that the casters are securely installed on the five-star base. Pay attention to the direction of the casters during installation. Generally, they should be able to rotate flexibly to facilitate the movement of the chair.
- Install Gas Lift: Insert the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the five-star base that has already been fitted with casters. The gas lift is a crucial component for the height adjustment of the office chair. Ensure that the gas lift is installed vertically to avoid tilting, which may affect the height adjustment function and stability of the chair.
- Install the Upper Part of the Chair Body: After completing the above steps, align the upper part of the chair body, which has already been assembled with armrests, mechanism, and backrest, with the top of the gas lift and slowly insert it downwards until you hear a 'click' sound, indicating that the chair body is locked with the gas lift. At this point, gently shake the chair body to check if it is firmly installed.
Key Points for Installing Table Legs
- Connect Table Frame and Legs: When installing table furniture, connecting the table frame and legs is a crucial step. First, place the table frame steadily on the ground, and then align the table legs with the connection parts of the table frame. During the connection process, use appropriate tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches to tighten the screws to ensure a firm connection between the table frame and legs.
- Ensure Levelness: After connection, use a level to check the tabletop to ensure it is level. If the tabletop is not level, items placed on it may slide, affecting the user experience. If the tabletop is found to be not level, adjust the levelness of the tabletop by adjusting the shims under the table legs until the desired state is achieved. During the adjustment process, proceed gradually and recheck the levelness after each adjustment to avoid over-adjustment.
