Office Chair and Stool Assembly
The assembly steps for office chairs and stools are generally as follows. Specific operations should be based on the product manual or installation video:

Install the casters Insert the five casters one by one into the corresponding holes on the chair base (five-pronged). Ensure that each caster is fully embedded and rotates smoothly. Pay attention to keeping the direction of the casters consistent in this step to avoid poor chair movement due to misalignment.
Install the gas lift Vertically insert the gas lift into the center hole of the chair base, ensuring that the bottom of the gas lift fits tightly against the chair base. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the chair height. When installing, keep it vertical to avoid tilting, which could lead to the failure of the gas pressure function or safety hazards.
Connect the armrests and the backrest Use four M6*25mm screws (some models may vary) to fix the armrests to the backrest. Tighten the screws to an appropriate torque to avoid a loose structure due to under-tightening or thread damage due to over-tightening. Align the installation holes of the armrests and the backrest in this step to ensure a flat connection.
Connect the armrests and the seat cushion Depending on the model, this step is divided into two cases:
- Use four M6*30mm screws to directly fix the armrests to the seat cushion;
- Or connect via an installed tray, using four M6*20mm screws to fix the tray to the seat cushion, and then assemble the armrests with the tray. Pay attention to matching the screw specifications during installation to avoid structural instability caused by mixed use.
Install the armrest brackets Use two M8*25mm screws to connect the brackets to the armrests and install decorative covers to cover the screw holes. Ensure that the brackets are aligned with the armrests in this step and that the decorative covers fit without gaps to enhance the overall aesthetics.
Install the headrest Insert the headrest into the reserved hole at the top of the backrest and fix it with two M625mm or M630mm screws (depending on the model). Adjust the headrest angle to a comfortable position during installation and confirm that the screws are tightened to prevent the headrest from loosening.
Other steps Some models require additional operations:
- Install the chassis at the bottom of the seat panel, ensuring that the chassis is aligned with the holes on the seat cushion;
- Use long screws to fix the connection between the base and the gas lift to enhance overall stability.
Precautions:
- Count all the accessories before assembly and confirm that the screw specifications and quantities match;
- Control the torque when using an electric screwdriver to avoid damaging the components due to over-tightening;
- If the holes are misaligned or the screws cannot be inserted, stop the operation and check whether any previous components are missing.
