Office Chair Against the Wall Feng Shui

The Feng Shui layout for an office chair placed against the wall should revolve around the principle of a 'stable backing mountain' to promote career development and attract noble connections. Here are the key points:

I. Core Principle: A Solid Wall as the 'Backing Mountain'

Having a solid wall behind the office chair is the foundation of Feng Shui layout. It symbolizes a stable career foundation, easy access to support from influential people, and provides psychological security, preventing distractions caused by an open space behind. If the wall is white, the sense of coldness can be alleviated by hanging decorations, but it's important to choose elements that are in harmony with Feng Shui.

II. Selection and Hanging Specifications of Decorations

1. Recommended Items
   • Landscape Paintings: Symbolize 'having a mountain at the back and water in front,' implying a smooth career path.
   • Paintings of Galloping Horses: Represent progress and vitality.
   • Calligraphy of 'Great Virtue Supports All Things': Enhances the aura of virtue and improves interpersonal harmony.
2. Forbidden Items
   • Avoid paintings of fierce beasts (which can easily trigger conflicts), withered trees and setting suns (symbolizing decline), and overly abstract or dark-toned works (which can easily lead to a depressing aura).
3. Hanging Specifications
   • The center of the picture should be 1.8 - 2 meters above the ground, level with or slightly higher than the sitting eye level, reflecting a sense of respect through 'looking up.'
   • A single large work is better than multiple collages. Having more than three decorations on a wall can easily lead to a chaotic aura.

III. Forbidden Layouts and Remedies

1. Back to Doors and Windows: The direct flow of air against the back can easily cause a 'lack of backing' and health problems.
   • Remedy: Add a screen or filing cabinet to create an artificial partition.
2. Back to Aisles: Frequent foot traffic creates a 'hidden arrow煞' (a form of negative energy), causing restlessness.
   • Remedy: Place broad-leaved plants (such as money trees) to use their vitality to neutralize the flowing negative energy.
3. Back to Electrical Appliances: Air conditioners, printers, etc., generate electromagnetic interference, affecting decision-making ability.
   • Remedy: Use a high-backed chair (with the backrest higher than the shoulders) and pair it with a brown cushion to enhance the stable properties of the 'earth' element.

IV. Adjustments Based on Five Elements of Destiny

1. Metal Element (Suitable for Management Positions): Place a metal bookcase behind and pair it with white or gold decorations.
2. Wood Element (Suitable for Creative Positions): Arrange a green plant wall or wooden lattice, supplemented by green-toned paintings.
3. Water Element (Suitable for Sales Positions): Hang paintings of nine fish or still water themes, accompanied by small flowing water ornaments.
4. Fire Element (Suitable for Technical Positions): Use red abstract art paintings, paired with triangular lamps.
5. Earth Element (Suitable for Financial Positions): Choose coffee-colored landscape paintings, paired with ceramic crafts.
