Office Chair Adjustment
The adjustment of an office chair should be carried out according to ergonomic principles to ensure comfort and healthy support. The specific adjustment steps are as follows:

Seat Height Adjustment
The seat height is a fundamental adjustment item. Ensure that both feet are completely flat on the ground, with the thighs and calves forming an angle of 95 to 100 degrees. If the chair is too high, it will cause the legs to hang in the air, increasing pressure on the thighs; if it is too low, it may compress the blood vessels and nerves behind the knees. Taking the C100 Deluxe Edition as an example, the height can be adjusted by pulling the metal handle under the seat forward. After adjustment, repeatedly sit and stand to test and confirm that both feet are stably touching the ground and the knees are naturally bent.Recline Angle Adjustment
The recline function can distribute back pressure, but it is necessary to choose an appropriate angle according to the work scenario. Common adjustment mechanisms include:
- Lever adjustment system: Located under the seat, release the lock and adjust the angle, then lock the position;
- Knob adjustment system: Usually in the center of the lower part of the seat. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the recline resistance and counterclockwise to decrease it. Some models require a separate knob to control the angle;
- Pneumatic adjustment system: Linked with the height adjustment lever, it achieves smooth angle changes through air pressure.
After adjustment, check whether the back support is even to avoid excessive recline causing the waist to hang in the air.
Seating Angle and Lumbar Support Adjustment
It is recommended to maintain a slightly reclined seating angle of 100 to 110 degrees so that the back fits against the backrest, especially ensuring that the natural curve of the lumbar spine is supported by the lumbar support. If the chair is equipped with an adjustable lumbar support, move it to the third to fourth lumbar vertebrae (approximately the most concave part of the waist) and adjust it to a degree where you feel 'firmly supported' to avoid being too tight or too loose.Armrest Height and Seat Depth Adjustment
The height of the armrests should match the position of the elbows when they are naturally hanging down, allowing the forearms to be easily placed on the armrests or the desktop, with the angle between the upper arms and forearms close to 100 degrees to reduce shoulder and neck pressure. The seat depth adjustment of the C100 Deluxe Edition is also achieved by pulling the metal handle under the seat forward. After adjustment, ensure that there is a gap of 2-3 finger widths between the front of the knees and the front edge of the seat to avoid compressing the thighs.
Precautions: After adjustment, sit quietly for 10-15 minutes and observe whether various parts of the body are naturally relaxed to avoid forcing yourself to adapt due to initial discomfort. After long-term use, it is recommended to slightly adjust the seat status every 1-2 hours to adapt to different work postures.
