Office Chair Adjustment Broken
If the adjustment mechanism of an office chair breaks, different repair methods can be adopted depending on the specific breakage situation.

If the cable control switch breaks:
First, check for any looseness in the cable control. If the looseness causes the adjustment to fail, you can restore the adjustment function by adjusting the position of the nut on the cable control to lengthen the distance. If the cable in the cable control breaks, you need to replace it with a new cable control device to ensure the integrity of the circuit and normal signal transmission. If the cable control terminal comes off the hook, you need to reattach the terminal to its original position to ensure a firm connection with the adjustment mechanism.
If the gas cylinder breaks or leaks air:
The gas cylinder is the core component for the height adjustment of an office chair. If it breaks or leaks air, you first need to assess its condition. Pinch the thin end of the gas cylinder with your hand and press it. If the gas cylinder has no air and can be easily compressed, it means the gas cylinder has failed and needs to be replaced with a new one. When replacing it, make sure the model of the gas cylinder matches that of the original chair to avoid installation difficulties or abnormal use due to size mismatches.
If other components break:
For broken external plastic components (such as adjustment buttons), you canไผๅ
(preferably) use strong glue for repair. Before repairing, thoroughly clean the broken area to ensure there is no debris left. Then, evenly apply the glue, align the broken parts, and press them firmly together. Wait for the glue to dry completely before testing the adjustment function. If the glue repair is not effective or no glue is available, you can find a small object of similar size and shape (such as a small plastic piece) and fix it to the broken position with tape to temporarily serve as an adjustment button. This method is only suitable for emergency situations. For long-term use, you need to replace it with original factory parts.
Precautions:
During the repair process, ensure operational safety to avoid secondary damage caused by improper force application. If you are not familiar with the internal structure, it is advisable to contact a professional repair person, especially when it involves replacing the gas cylinder or circuits, to ensure standard operations and avoid safety hazards.
