Its core advantage lies in durability, being able to withstand deformation under long-term sitting pressure without delamination, while also having anti-aging properties to adapt to different temperature and humidity environments. The sponge adhesive is an environmentally friendly water-based adhesive specifically designed for upholstered furniture and widely used for bonding sponge layers in products such as swivel chairs and sofas. Its formula uses water-based polymers, with zero volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, meeting indoor air quality standards and having no irritating odor, making it suitable for office environments. This adhesive has a quick-drying characteristic, typically reaching initial curing strength within 5-10 minutes, significantly shortening the production cycle. In terms of bonding strength, it is strong enough to fix multi-layer sponges or composite structures of sponge and leather/faux leather materials, remaining stable even under long-term compression or frequent friction (such as swivel chair rotation). Additionally, its flame-retardant properties have passed relevant safety certifications, further enhancing the safety of office furniture.
It should be noted that there are also "adhesive sleeve" products among office chair accessories, such as caster protectors or anti-slip sleeves. However, these products are physical protective accessories that achieve shock absorption and anti-slip functions by wrapping metal or plastic components and have no direct connection with chemical adhesives.
